Primary - Key Stage 1
Key Stage 1 is a special experience for all children, parents and teachers.
It is the transition stage between the carefree years of a child's life and the information based life ahead.
Every year we welcome a new set of children and subtly guide them through that transition stage to say good bye to little learners by the end of this Stage. We watch them grow, develop and acquire various skills to prepare them
for what's to come ahead. .
.
We encourage students to be creative and ambitious with their work. We promote leadership and team work within our classes and confidence through public speech and priase. Students are involved in their progress and target setting to enhance their sense of responsibility and allow them to accomplish all the learning goals expected of them.
.
In Key Stage 1 we have developed a KS1 Routine that unifies the teaching practice, session structure, communication and general expectations to provide a comfortable, familiar environment for both students and parents throughout the key stage.
Children are unique in so many ways such as learning capabilities, interests, confidence and independence. In our school we allow each child to be unique, enhance their learning and skills in order to help them develop into the wonderful people that will build tomorrow's world. We hope you will enjoy this stage of your child's life as much as we will and support us both in our little journey through Key Stage 1 .
